Class Summary
If you're here, then chances are your dog walks are not your favourite activity. Walking your dog might even be a bit of a struggle. Or maybe you are simply looking to train your dog - young or old - to walk nicely with you moving forward?
The Loose-leash Walking Class is designed to make your dog walks enjoyable again, and give you multiple approaches to make walking with your dog a joy rather than a dreaded chore.
The class will help you understand your dog's individual motivation to pull and utilise your dog's drive to encourage nice walking, rather than pulling. You will also learn how to increase your dog's engagement with you, and decrease arousal on walks through simple and practical training games to spruce up your dog walks.
The class will be held outdoors, so boots and warm clothes are a must!

Theory:
- Troubleshooting your dog's pulling
- How lasting habits are formed
- Balancing dog needs & walking skills
- Arousal - friend or foe?
Practical training:
- Training all elements of the loose leash
- Fun on-leash games
- Making distractions work for you
- Realistic outdoor practise - no circling in halls!
