Scentsational Sniffers: Introductory Class May 2026

ENROLLING NOW - Starting 30th May in East Hull

Designed for dogs of all ages and temperaments, this class is an invitation to get to know your dog better through by learning about the the importance of their sense of smell.

What's in a Smell?

Dogs perceive the world through their nose and it can be difficult for us to comprehend the importance and workings of this weird and wonderful sense.

This 5-week Introductory Class is an invitation to get to know your dog on a deeper level and experience the world through their nose.

You will find out how dogs track scents, discover new ways to stimulate their snout and brain with enriching olfactory games and get introduced to the sport of scentwork with the opportunity to progress to further levels after the class has finished.

There are no prerequisite skills needed for the Scentsational Sniffers Introductory Class.

However, this course is only suited for dogs who are comfortable and able to focus in an indoor class environment. If you are still keen to explore the world of scent with your dog, but you do not think they would cope in class, please book a 1:1 scentwork session!

Continue with Ingenious Dogs to train your dog to find lost people or dogs, find lost keys, and more!

Enriching your dog's life through scent-based activities

Or incorporate exercises learned during the class into your dog's routines, walks, etc. 

Hello! I am Marie, your scentwork instructor.

I began my journey into scentwork from a canine enrichment perspective: I was looking for (and found!) an enjoyable training hobby to build my rescue dogs' confidence!

Besides having actively attended scentwork classes and achieved academic animal training qualifications, I am also qualified to instruct and train scentwork classes since completing the Scentwork UK and Canine Enrichment Technician certification.
