Treibball Beginner Class - August 2026

Class Summary
Treibball is a dog sport from Germany that was originally designed to provide a herding outlet for herding breeds, but it has since gained in popularity as a dog training discipline which welcomes all dogs and that focuses on teamwork, clear cues and fun!
Just like a herding breed might herd sheep or cattle, in Treibball a dog must herd 8 yoga-style inflatable balls completely while only being given verbal instructions from their handler. The handler stands in front of a goal, and without physically interfering, must guide their dog to herd each ball into the goal.
Who is suited for Treibball ? This dog sport is low-impact and best suited for dogs from adolescence to old age, but it requires some good training foundations to build on. In fact, Treibball is a great way of improving those foundations.
As a Treibball handler, you must also be passionate about perfecting your training skills!
